Tommy is the Program Director and Morning Show host for ROCKY 104.9, WRKY fm.
Tommy has never left the nest of Central PA, attending high school at Bishop Guilfoyle and then heading to Penn State for college. In my spare time I like to play chess with myself and really enjoy cleaning my house. When I grow up I want to be a doctor or a pig farmer...a tough call on that one.
Since starting his broadcasting career in 1980, Jay has become a fixture on Central Pennsylvania radio. The once-host of The "Top Nine At 9" and "All Night Album Rock" on WFBG through the 80s' and 90s', now finds himself back doing the format he fell in love with as a kid growing up. "I worshipped those Rock Jocks, and I not only listened, but I tried to learn stuff too about all the bands and artists."
Jay has a wife, Elaine, and 4 kids that are the "Best things to ever happen to him." He plays bass guitar in the blues band, "Fat Vinny And The Wiseguys." He loves riding his motorcycle, hunting, movies, and especially sports (Hail to The Redskins!), ...and of course, his job on ROCKY 1049.

The X-man is sometimes called The Man From X according to Tommy Edwards. There is one thing for sure and that is X-man is one crazy dude! We tried to catch up with the X-man during his Big Hair Saturday Night show. That was a big mistake! The X-man was crazy with phone calls and loud music and so trying to talk to him was a lost cause. So we made arrangements to catch up with the X-man at an undisclosed location (no, really we did).
"The Professor" is back! Jim Price is Rocky's resident live music junkie, and he brings the new local music program "The Homegrown Rocker" to Rocky every Sunday night! Besides spreading the gospel of local bands and artists on the airwaves, Jim writes a monthly column is local music publication Pennsylvania Musician Magazine, and is also a co-administrator and writer for local website Rockpage (www.rockpage.net).
When Jim isn't out seeing bands or covering the local music scene, he's an avid gardener, and likes photography, the outdoors, hiking, fishing, railfanning, roadtrips, friends and fun! The Professor bleeds Penn State blue and white, Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates black and gold! And his ability to defoliate hot chicken wings is legendary!
